NEW YEAR – NEW STRATEGY

As we enter 2024 now is the perfect opportunity to plan ahead and implement a new strategy for your salon in the new year.

Here we share some considerations when creating a new strategy for your salon:

Customer Experience Enhancement

It is vital that you focus on providing exceptional customer service, afterall a happy customer is a returning customer. Train your staff to be friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in your salon, making sure that you pay attention to the overall ambiance, decor, and cleanliness. It is also important that you regularly gather feedback from your clients through direct conversations or customer surveys, so you can use this information to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.

Staff Training & Development

Invest in ongoing training for your staff to keep them updated on the latest Microblading & PMU techniques. At Everlasting Brows, we offer a range of training courses to enhance your Microblading & PMU skills from the Everlasting Brows Beginners Eyebrow Microblading Course, Microblading Improver Course, Advanced Microblading Course to the Pigmentology Master and Signature Brow Mapping Course. Marketing Plan

Create a 12 Month Marketing Plan and identify the key months in the year to undertake various promotions and seasonal offers / packages, such as:

  • January – New Year - New You

  • February – Valentine’s Day

  • March – Mother’s Day

  • April – Easter

  • May / June – Wedding Season

  • July / August – Holiday Season

  • September – Post Holiday

  • October - Halloween

  • November / December – Christmas Party Season

Social Media

Boost your online presence through social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook. Share high-quality images of your salon, showcase your artist's incredible work, and share brilliant customer testimonials. It is important that you post regularly and keep engaging with your target audience. Consider running promotions or exclusive offers for clients who follow or engage with your salon on social media.

Online Booking and Scheduling:

Implement or optimise an online booking system to make it convenient for clients to schedule appointments. Utilise technology to send appointment reminders via email or SMS and ask clients to pay a 25% or 50% deposit when booking an appointment to reduce no-shows and last-minute cancellations.

Pricing & Expenditure

Review and optimise your pricing structure, when was the last time you had a price increase?

With the significant increases in inflation, it is important that you have all your costs covered. Monitor expenses and look for ways to increase efficiency without compromising quality.

Booking Patterns

Analyse client booking patterns over the past 12-24 months and reach out to clients who have not booked in for a service for a long period of time with a special tailored offer to regain their custom.

Loyalty Programs

Implement a loyalty program to reward repeat customers. Offer discounts, complimentary services, or exclusive offers for clients who frequently visit your salon.

Collaborations and Partnerships

Partner with other local businesses, such as clothing boutiques, hotels & spas, hairdressers, freelance make-up artists, wedding planners and photographers. Offer cross-promotions throughout 2024, where you can recommend each other's services to your respective client bases. This can help expand your reach and attract clients who may not have been previously aware of your salon.

By incorporating these strategies, you can successfully plan ahead in 2024 and offer an enhanced experience for your clients.
